Once In A Lifetime

The timing would have been perfect for a weekend out of town to go to Vancouver to witness Sir Paul McCartney in concert. The pricing would have been reasonable enough to see a big name like Paul McCartney playing live in Vancouver, BC. It was just a little too late because I only realized Paul McCartney would be playing in Vancouver a day before this once in a lifetime event took place.  Tickets were all sold out  long before I knew anything at all. I guess I should have kept up what was happening on the outside world instead of being caught up with my everyday affairs from the inside.
As a youngster I had great admiration for the Beatles and Paul McCartney was my favorite because he was the cutest. When I got a bit older I became more drawn to John Lennon. But hey, a Beatle is a Beatle and I feel somewhat irked at myself for missing something that I probably will never get a chance to see again in the future. This is the second time Paul McCartney has played in Vancouver since the Beatles performed live in 1964 only a few days before I was actually born. Reading the reviews on the internet about the Paul McCartney concert were very positive. It is my understanding that he sang quite a number of songs from the Beatles  as well as his solos along with a outstanding solid performance. This would be a fair statement due to the fact that Sir Paul McCartney has been performing for over fifty years giving him the mega superstar status that he is. Perhaps in the future, maybe, just maybe he will come back to Vancouver for one more encore.
