Do you like cats? Want to adopt a cat or kitten. Choose a black cat. You may have very well saved a precious life if you consider adopting a black cat or kitten. Cats come in many different patterns and colors coats. It's true that many people will often choose a cat or kitten with lighter colored fur. This had also rang true for myself in the past. I always found my eye drawn to a fluffy cat with beautiful light colored markings or a light shade of a solid color. Black cats were normally the last choice on my list until I read many stories on the net about the many black cats that do not find homes. It was so sad. Many dark colored or black cats and kittens usually do not make it out of animal shelters. Many are simply euthanised because of the color of their fur.
