Cat Crashes Clock
Our little black cat, Abraham loves to play and also get into mischief. One morning he got himself into trouble with the grandfather clock that stood in the dining room. My other half had left for work but I was still asleep. I awoke an hour later only to find my cherry wood grandfather clock lying face down on the kitchen floor. The cat was standing in the living room looking toward the clock then looked at me as if he knew he was in big trouble. I was not too happy about this let alone still being half asleep and feeling like a grizzly bear still trying to wake up. I lifted the clock and noticed the wood on the crown of the clock was smashed which totally ruined the whole look of the clock. The clock still chimed even though the batteries were low but did somewhat sound a little more distorted. The clock mechanism was more than likely damaged from the fall.
